Creora ActiFit Unveiled at Outdoor Retailer Show in Denver
Hyosung T&C, a textile arm of Hyosung Group will participate in the Outdoor Retailer Show (OR Show), one of the three major global textile material exhibitions held in Denver, the United States, from June 18-20. Hyosung T&C will unveil Creora ActiFit, a spandex yarn optimized for extreme sportswear.
Creora ActiFit is a product that enhances the strength of spandex to restore to its original shape after being stretched. Functional apparels made of ActiFit are well suited for extreme sports because they give extreme sports lovers a nice fit feel and support their muscles more strongly during exercises. In addition, they have enhanced durability against ultraviolet radiation and chlorine, so they are not easily broken or deformed even in sunlight or pool water.
"Creora ActiFit will help people who enjoy cycling, marathon, swimming, triathlon, and adventure racing focus on their exercise," a Hyosung official said.
On top of that, Hyosung T&C will present various functional yarns. On exhibit will be Regen, a recycled polyester yarn developed to meet the recent trends of the fashion industry towards environment-friendliness and sustainability; MIPAN Regen, a nylon yarn reprocessed from its manufacturing process; Creora EcoSoft, a spandex yarn that can be set at a lower temperature compared to ordinary spandex; and Creora Black, a doped dyed black yarn that does not need to be dyed separately.
