LS Cable and System (Chairman and CEO Koo Cha-yub) announced on February 7 that it has formed a Memorandum of Understanding, or MOU, with LS Sauter in an effort to strengthen the business for intelligent cabling management system called SimpleWin, and unveiled plans to host a product showcase event on February 17. LS Sauter is a company that specializes in Intelligent Building Systems, or IBSs.

SimpleWin is an integrated data cabling system developed by LS Cable and System that intelligently controls audio and visual data. It is a highly-sophisticated product that can troubleshoot and restore data networks, safeguarding against communications breakdowns. It is the best type of technology available in integrated cabling, and only a select group of global communications companies have the proven track record to develop it. Unlike the other companies, LS Cable and System’s SimpleWin uses smartphones to control the system remotely and protect the network against malfunctions and data failures.

LS Cable and System’s Executive Director of Marketing Yeon Jae-in said, “This partnership with LS Sauter is a major plus, as it should enhance LS Cable and System to market its product in not only its traditional area which is Business to Business, but also in the Business to Customer area with which LS Sauter is familiar. The increased sales efforts for Simplewin’s high-end product is also likely to stimulate sales of traditional data cables, as well. It is a win-win situation for us both.”
