SOMESING Releases iOS Beta Version of Karaoke App

SOMESING, a Korean startup that operates a blockchain-based karaoke app, said on 26 April that it has launched an iOS beta version application in Apple's App Store.

The company has started a launch event offering prizes such as iPhone and Golden Goose Snickers through its official Facebook and Instagram.

"Since the launch of a beta version app for Android on Google Store in late February, SOMESING has received a lot of attention from users. So far, about 20,000 users have downloaded it and we have more than 1,000 daily active users and brisk transactions on the ICON network," said Kim Heui-bae, CEO of SOMESING. “The release of the iOS beta version will allow global iPhone users to easily download and enjoy SOMESING." Kim added, "A continuous increase in the number of users will make SOMESING app a global decentralized application (dApp)."

"The release of SOMESING's iOS application in the game-oriented market will enhance the value of a variety of content and contribute to expanding the blockchain ecosystem," said Lee Jung-hoon, director of ICON foundation. “In the future, we expect SOMESING to have a positive impact on the activation of the dApp market based on the ICON platform.”
