Samsung Electronics will launch the Galaxy S10 5G, the world's first 5G smartphone, on April 5 in Korea.

A 5G network is 20 times faster than a 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network and the former’s latency is one tenth of that of the latter. These features enable users to receive various multimedia content faster and enjoy 4K video calls.

The Galaxy S10 5G is loaded with a 6.7 inch Infiniti-O display and a total of six cameras including a rear quadruple camera, and a 4,500 mAh high-capacity battery. The sleek 5G smartphone allows users to enjoy high-end games as if they were in the game and freely watch virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) content.

The Galaxy S10 5G features a 3D depth camera on the back, which provides Live Focus Video function that creates bokeh effects for real-time images and a simple measurement function to determine the length of an object based on AR. The world’s first 5G smartphone comes with an 8GB RAM in order to let users enjoy the best experiences.

The Galaxy S10 5G will come in two built-in memory models -- 256 GB and 512 GB. The 256 GB model will be available in three colors -- crown silver, majestic black and royal gold. It will be priced at 1,397,000 won. The 512 GB model will come in two colors -- crown silver and majestic black -- and retail at 1,556,500 won.
