Members of Bithumb, the largest crypto asset exchange in South Korea, will now be able to pay with “Bithumb cash” on an online duty free shop.
Bithumb announced on March 28 that it has formed a partnership with Shinsegae Duty Free and started the “Bithumb cash” payment service on online Shinsegae duty free shop.
“Bithumb cash,” cryptocurrency-based online and offline payment and remittance service system, is a total asset of Bithumb members, including cryptocurrencies and the won points on the exchange.
Bithumb members can choose “Bithumb cash” in the payment method on online Shinsegae duty free store. When they buy a product with “Bithumb cash,” cryptocurrencies will be subtracted based on the market price at the time of making a payment, according to a spokesperson of Bithumb.
