KINTEX will host a 3D Printing Industry roadshow with US trade show company Media Bistro in conjunction with IT industry companies on June 12-13, with pre-registration and buildup taking place on June 11.
This event will consist of an “Inside 3D Printing Expo” show, conferences, and events inside a Maker Pavilion.
In the trade show, help sessions and consulting will be provided on 3D printers, 3D scanners, and related software.
In the international conference, informational sessions will be held on 3D printing technology on the first day, June 12, which will be open to the public, and expert sessions will be held simultaneously.
Participants of this year’s event will able to get detailed information about 3D printing. Discussion will be conducted on various subjects such as trademarks, intellectual property, and trade information about Korean companies seeking to market their products abroad.
In addition, the general public will have the opportunity to get a close look at the products created by 3D printer experts and aficionados. They will also get hands-on experience with 3D printing at a Do-It-Yourself event in the Maker Pavilion.
3D printing is gathering worldwide attention as a convergence technology for the future, and with the relaxation of rules governing international trade patents, a door has opened for Korean companies to seek market opportunities abroad. As such, the importance of trade shows like the Inside 3D Printing Expo is growing.
Lee Han-chul, CEO of KINTEX, said, “We will plan to host such events with the focus on exploring business opportunities abroad. We will work closely with various trade show organizations from countries in Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas to seek out those opportunities.”
