The two countries’ first meeting regarding the issue was held in November 2018. This time, the two commissioners agreed to hold such meetings on a regular basis so that the issue can be addressed without delay. In addition, they reached a consensus on an advance pricing agreement for transfer pricing taxation reduction and double taxation prevention.

Also, they discussed how to expand electronic tax administration and customer services for the convenience of South Korean companies in India.

The South Korean commissioner is scheduled to visit Bangkok, Thailand on Feb. 27 for a meeting with his Thai counterpart Ekniti Nitithanprapas.
