Samsung Electronics Files Appeal against Apple

Samsung Electronics has lodged an appeal in Korea against the recent ruling of the patent infringement lawsuit. 

The company submitted the petition of appeal to the Seoul Central District Court on December 26. The judge ruled against the plaintiff on December 12 in the suit filed by Samsung Electronics against Apple Korea. The former claimed that three of its commercial patents had been violated, but the court did not recognize the novelty of two of them, adding that it was wrong to say Apple infringed upon the other patent, too.
