Bitcoin Trade

A system where buyers and sellers can check the trading volume and closing price of bitcoins in real time will be made public in Korea.

According to sources in the financial industry on December 23, Korbit, Korea’s bitcoin exchange market, is scheduled to provide real-time information on trading of the virtual currency on its website from late December.

So far, Korbit has only provided information on recently finalized transactions.

Kim Jin-hwa, director of Korbit, said, “We will make it possible to check information on bitcoin trading by constructing a system to provide real-time information on trading,” adding, “Real time bitcoin market data is already available in many other countries.”

The average daily trading volume of the virtual currency at Korbit rose to 500 million won in December, which is five times as high as the figure for November.
