Hanwha Group chairman Kim Seung-youn, who is currently visiting Vietnam, has met with the chairman of Vietnam’s largest business group to discuss cooperation in manufacturing, finance and tourism.
Kim met with Pham Nhat Vuong, chairman of the Vin Group, at the latter’s office in Hanoi, Vietnam on Dec. 6. The two discusses ways to build cooperative relations and create synergy between the two business groups.
The two groups plan to work together as strategic partners in a variety of businesses such as finance, auto parts, security, startups, and tourism.
In a meeting with Vuong, Kim said that partnership between the two groups will expand in the future as the Vin Group`s mission to “give the Vietnamese people a better life” is similar to Hanwha`s founding spirit of “contributing to the nation through business.”
The Vin Group is the number one business group in Vietnam which is engaged in real estate development, distribution (marts and convenience stores), and leisure.
