Hyundai Motor has launched global cultural marketing ahead of the release of the Palisade, a flagship large-sized SUV.

Hyundai announced on Nov. 28 that it held the Hyundai Style Night in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, to make a fashion and lifestyle proposal pursued by the Palisade. The event was a marketing program sponsored by Hyundai Motor ahead of the first public showcase of the Palisade at the LA Motor Show in the U.S.

The Hyundai Style Night featured Palisade-style fashion items designed jointly by world-class U.S. and Korean stylists and fashion designers. Ty Hunter, who is famous as a stylist for global pop star Beyonce, and world-famous fashion designer Park Yoon-hee took the wraps off 20 costumes designed based on inspirations from the Palisade.

They designed the costumes in a liberal and active style in consideration of potential Palisade buyers who are expected to pursue a relaxed and pleasant lifestyle.

The event was studded with about 200 celebrities including famous fashion designers and pop stars in the United States and Korea and global influencers with millions or more of followers in social network services (SNS).

Influencers refer to famous or popular people who have hundreds of thousands of followers in SNS services such as Instagram and YouTube.

Also in attendance were fashion model Sofia Richie with about four million followers and Suede Brooks, another fashion model with more than 700,000 followers.
