Doosan Infracore has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with  Indonesian state-run enterprise Pindad on cooperatin in engine supply.

Doosan Infracore announced on Nov. 11 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Pindad, an Indonesian state-run enterprise specialising in military and commercial products, on cooperation in engine supply.

Through the MOU, which was signed during Indo Defense 2018 held in Jakarta, Indonesia from Nov. 7-9, Doosan Infracore will study the feasibility of mounting engines on military hardware. It will select the right engines for military equipment and set their supply volumes in cooperation with Pindad.

Doosan Infracore also signed an MOU with BBI, a state-owned engine manufacturer in Indonesia, in September.

Doosan Infracore signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Italian tractor producer Arbos in October to supply 27,000 diesel engines for six years. The company was also selected as an engine supplier for Chinese forklift company Baoli and will supply 12,000 diesel engines by 2025.
