Consulting for Botswana telecom operator

Officials from KT and BTC hold a briefing session on an LTE network consulting project at BTC Headquarters, which is located in Gaborone, Botswana.

 

KT Corp. announced on Oct. 22 that it will provide consulting on LTE network deployment and operation to Botswana Telecommunications Corp. (BTC), which is a telecommunications company in Botswana.

KT, which has been carrying out IT infrastructure construction projects in Botswana since 2014, carried out consulting projects for about four months last year to diagnose BTC's network and establish future strategies. It won a comprehensive consulting project based on these projects.

KT is planning to provide technical consulting on BTC's LTE network expansion and construction. First, KT will provide consulting on LTE network design and detailed implementation plan for about three months. After network deployment is completed, it will provide consulting on network operations, including final inspection prior to the launch of commercial services, for about eight months.
