Partnership for New Oral Care Toothpaste Brand
Aekyung Industry, a Korean household item and beauty care company, announced on October 16 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Fingredient, a material supplier in Northern Europe, to launch a healthy oral care toothpaste brand.
Fingredient is a manufacturer of natural and vegetable material products based on raw materials collected from Lapland, Finland. Aekyung Industry plans to launch a new-concept oral care toothpaste brand using natural materials developed by Fingredient.
The raw material to be applied to the new toothpaste brand is an extract from peeled pine trees in organic standard forest areas in Lapland, Finland. This material is known to have a large amount of procyanidins, bioflavonoids, and polyphenols effective for antioxidation.
"through this MOU, we plan to bring excellent oral care products to our customers," an Aekyung Industry official said.
