Oxley Tower to be located in KLCC, Malaysia

Ssangyong Engineering & Construction has won new contracts worth a total of 420 billion won in Malaysia and Dubai. The project in Malaysia is to build the Oxley Tower and that in Dubai is to build a new Andaz hotel.

The Oxley Tower, 339 meters in height, is scheduled to be located in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre area. It is divided into three buildings, and a hotel, a residence building and offices are going to be placed in the 79-, 49- and 29-story ones, respectively. In addition, a seven-story-high podium is built for inter-building connection. The project was launched by a subsidiary company of Oxley Holdings, a Singapore-based real estate developer, for 350 billion won. The construction period is 41 months.

Andaz Dubai to be built by Ssangyong E&C

The new Andaz hotel, in the meantime, will be located in Jumeirah 1, Dubai. The five-star Hyatt hotel will have nine floors, including two underground, along with 156 rooms.

The project was launched by Wasl LLC, which is a real estate asset development and management company of the Dubai government. The total cost is 70 billion won and the construction period is 20 months.
