Popularity of Galaxy Note 3

Samsung Electronics announced on December 10 that more than 10 million units of the Galaxy Note 3 were sold worldwide as of late November.

The sales of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 crossed the 10 million mark two months after its launch on September 25, beating the previous records of the Note I (9 months) and the Note II (4 months).

Samsung said that since its release in 58 countries, the Galaxy Note 3 has been hugely popular in China, Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

In particular, the handset is reported to have won the heart of Chinese people, since it is more convenient for them to directly write Chinese characters on their smartphone screen with the S Pen than pressing buttons.

In Europe and North America, the capability of multitasking arising from the device’s big screen and the offer of various frequency bands in line with the LTE service, which is fast expanding in the world, contributed to a positive trend in sales.
