It has been found that the US Navy sent an advanced maritime patrol aircraft to Okinawa, Japan with the increasing tensions in Northeast Asia for China’s declaration of the air defense identification zone (ADIZ).

US news channels such as CNN reported on December 2 (local time) that the US Navy dispatched two P-8A Poseidons on November 29 to the Kaneda Air Base in Okinawa and will send four more of them within the month.

The US Navy announced that this was according to a rotation plan established long ago, but many people are paying keen attention to its correlation to the declaration by China and Vice President Joe Biden’s visit to Northeast Asia.

In the meantime, the Department of Defense said that its aircraft kept flying in the ADIZ, following the flight training of the B-52 bombers on November 25.
