LG Display is exhibiting its future display products at the International Information Display Society (SID) 2018 Exhibition, which will run from May 22 to May 25 at the LA Convention Center in the US.
LG Display is showcasing its advanced new displays products such as organic light emitting diode (OLED) TVs and automobile and mobile displays among others at its booth under the slogan “Display Your Lifestyle.”
At this exhibition, LG Display has revealed its 77-inch transparent flexible display for the first time abroad. This product with an ultra high definition (UHD) resolution, 40% transmittance and a radius of curvature of 80R was developed by LG Display for the first time in the world in a government-sponsored project last year.
LG Display also exhibits 55-inch and 65-inch UHD crystal sound OLED (CSO) displays that generate sounds from their panels themselves. The 65-inch model was selected as the 'Display of the Year' at the exhibition.
LG Display displays a 12.3-inch high-resolution quad high-definition (QHD) display that can replace current analog dashboards in the automotive sector and a 16.2-inch display for a passenger next to the driver. The company also showcases a 14.3-inch center information display (CID) based on its “In-Touch” technology.
