Lotte E&C received an order for constructing infrastructure in Da Nang, Vietnam’s third largest city.

On November 18, Lotte E&C announced it received an order worth US$62 million (about 65 billion won) for constructing freeways in Vietnam. The order is for building 14.6km of a 140km four-lane freeway connecting Da Nang City to the District of Quang Ngaicame, from the Vietnam Expressway Corporation. The construction is expected to be complete in 36 months.

Lotte E&C explained that this order has secured an advantageous position for the company in receiving additional orders for the Da Nang to Quang Ngai freeway construction business.

In addition, Lotte E&C is in the process of constructing its 65 floor high-rise residential building called “Lotte Center in Hanoi” in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Last December, it received an improvement construction order for 66km of railroads in the Northern Lao Cai region.
