Bio Exhibition in Korea
The BIO KOREA 2018 International Convention will run at COEX, Seoul, Korea for three days from May 9 to 11 to identify the present and future of the biotechnology and medical industries at home and abroad.
The exhibition, hosted by North Chungcheong Province and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute, will host this exposition where bio-related global companies will showcase new products and hold a conference where biotechnology experts from Korea and overseas will predict future bio technology.
In particular, this year, the conference will be held on various themes related to the innovation of the bio and health industries in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
In addition, the BIO KOREA 2018 International Convention is expected to expand networks among Korean and overseas participating companies in the bio industry as the event will accompany the Business Forum, which is a venue for technology trade, the Medtech Fair for consultations with global pharmaceutical experts for the development of overseas pharmaceutical markets, the Invest Fair to connect bio companies with capital, the Job Fair, a link between recruiting companies and bio job seekers and the GPKOL International Symposium through which participants will share the latest trends in the pharmaceutical sector and form a global network.
On the other hand, 675 companies from 47 countries participated in the BIO KOREA 2017 held for three days from April 12 to 14 last year. About 24,000 visitors attended the event, 1392 business meetings were recorded, resulting in 353.2 billion won in export deals.
