"In order to cope with changes in the business environment such as energy conversion policies, fundamental changes and innovation are required," said Lee Bae-soo, new president of KEPCO E&C, in his inauguration ceremony held at the Grand Hall of KEPCO E&C Headquarters on February 13, “We will become an energy technology company capable of realizing sustainable growth based on our strengths."
The inauguration ceremony garnered much attention as the new CEO made a presentation titled “KEPCO Innovation Growth Plan” on the goals and key directions of the company during his term.
"In order to respond to national energy conversion policies, we will strengthen our investment and commercialization capacities for the new energy business such as renewable energy," president Lee said.
"We will continue to diversify the core business areas of our current main business such as nuclear power and thermal power and hit our straps through overseas markets,” he added. “We will upgrade our management system and risk management capabilities to have our company befit an export-led business structure."
