LS Group management turned out in the world’s largest consumer technology show “CES 2018.”

LS Group announced on January 15 that Chairman Koo Ja-yeol visited the CES 2018 from the 11th to 12th accompanied by the groups’ 10 key executives, including LS Mtron Vice Chairman Koo Ja-eun, LS Group President Lee Hak-sung and Superior Essex (SPSX) CEO Kim Bong-soo. In particular, Vice Chairman Koo sought out a new business opportunity at the CES before re-establishing LS Mtron’s business portfolio.

Chairman Koo and other key executives visited the exhibition booth of domestic companies, such as Hyundai and Kia Motors, Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, and foreign companies, including Huawei, DJI, Toyota and Dassault, to have first-hand experience of the latest technology trend.

“LS should aggressively cooperate with companies with high technical skills in the power, automation and grid sectors that the group is more focusing on and make China as a land of opportunities not a threat,” said Chairman Koo.

“We have a lot to learn from different kinds of industries at the moment when digital innovation is breaking down boundaries between industries. We should understand the global technology trend by visiting exhibitions, like the CES, and expand investment by forming business partnerships with global leading firms in the future,” he added.
