The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which enjoyed sales of 400,000 units in four days since its launch in Korea began its expansion into global territories.

Samsung Electronics officially launched the Galaxy Note 8 in 20 countries including Australia, India, Russia, some of CIS countries, Thailand, Taiwan and Malaysia on September 22. The number of countries where the Galaxy Note 8 was launched climbed to 60 with the addition of about 40 countries including Korea and those in North America and Europe that saw the launches of Samsung’s new smartphone.

Samsung Electronics is planning to expand the number of countries with Galaxy Note 8 launches to 150 countries around the world including China (September 29) and Japan (October).

Samsung Electronics has also been working on the marketing of the Galaxy Note 8 by opening “Galaxy Studio” to let people experience the new product conveniently. On September 21, an event for the launch of the Galaxy Note 8 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia drew a lot of attention by inviting Song Ji-hyo, a popular Korean actress taking the initiative in the Korean cultural wave. In an event for the launch of the Galaxy Note 8 in Bangkok, Thailand on September 20, Thai consumers exhibited their works drawn on Galaxy Note smartphones through Lifestyle TV “The Frame” and their works received good responses.

Beginning on September 25, Samsung Electronics will run Galaxy Studio at Federation Square in Melbourne, Australia. In this studio, visitors can not only try the functions of the Galaxy Note 8 such as “S Pen” and dual cameras but experience Samsung Electronics’ three latest wearable devices.
