SK Group Hiring R&D Engineers with Advanced Degrees in the US

According to industry sources, five SK subsidiaries are hiring R&D engineers with advanced degrees in the United States. Specifically, the companies are SK Innovation, SK Telecom, SK Corporation, SK Materials and SK Biopharmaceuticals.

The recruitment can be regarded as a group-wide process in that the five companies are the SK Group’s key subsidiaries. They are planning to collect resumes until the end of this month and have interviews in the United States from October 23 to November 3. Both experienced workers and newcomers can apply for the recruitment.

The purpose of the recruitment in the U.S. is to accelerate the growth of the sectors SK is concentrating on as its future growth drivers. For example, SK Innovation, which is a late starter in the electric vehicle battery industry, is seeking for those who will develop next-generation batteries. SK Telecom is planning to employ those who will handle data analysis, natural language processing and so on in the field of big data and artificial intelligence (AI).

SK Corporation, which is the holding company of the SK Group, recruits machine learning, deep learning, AI and cloud computing experts via SK C&C. SK Materials, which manufactures electronic materials in the group, is going to recruit experts in the field of semiconductor, display and battery.
