Samsung Electronics unveils the Galaxy Note 8 in Manhattan on August 23. The phone is expected to come with the Infinity Display technology and a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display as a bezel-less phone.
Its features are expected to include dual cameras, too. A 13-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens that have a horizontal arrangement are likely to constitute the dual cameras on the back of the handset. Optical image stabilization (OIS) and 2x optical zooming are expected to be applied to the cameras with an aperture value of F1.7.
The S Pen of the Galaxy Note 8 is likely to support memo on the turned-off screen and saving of an image section in the form of a GIF animation. The pen’s translation feature is expected to cover a whole sentence and it is also expected that the pen will come with a built-in speaker.
The Galaxy Note 8 has a battery with a capacity of 3,300 mAh. For reference, the battery of each of the Galaxy Note 7 and the Galaxy S8 Plus has a capacity of 3,500 mAh. The price of the Galaxy Note 8 is estimated at US$900 to US$1,000.
