The Korea Housing Finance Corporation (KHFC) announced on August 10 that it recently invited some members of PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial along with Indonesian government officials and shared its housing finance know-how with them. The Korea Housing Finance Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Indonesian housing finance organization in August last year.

During their meeting, the South Korean organization shared its expertise related to mortgage-backed securities issue, secondary market matters and so on to strengthen its cooperation with PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial.

“We are going to keep expanding our cooperation with housing finance organizations in various countries based on our MOUs with them,” the corporation remarked, adding, “Our mutual cooperation will take the form of the Knowledge Sharing Program and the like.”

Since the beginning of 2015, the KHFC has signed MOUs with those in the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar and Kazakhstan.
