LG Household and Health Care recently made a foray into the duty-free shop market by opening the first duty-free shop in Jamsil Lotte World Tower in Seoul.

CNP Rx was launched in May last year based on the brand slogan “prescriptions become cosmetics.” The product entered Duty-Free Shop of the Lotte World Tower, the largest duty-free shop in Korea about one year after the product hit shelves at department stores. LG Household and Health Care will begin its duty-free business on a full scale and actively entice overseas consumers as well as Koreans.

In particular, LG Household & Health Care pushed forward with opening a CNP Rx corner in duty-free shops in response to the recent expansion of the dermo-cosmetics (dermatology + cosmetics) market worldwide. The company held various promotions such as developing a duty-free set focusing on Miracle Essence in honor of the opening of the first branch in a duty-free shop and giving kits to try CNP Rx products in accordance with purchase amounts.    

In particular, LG Household & Health Care is actively carrying out Chinese digital viral marketing in order to promote the brand in the global market together with advancement into the CNP Rx duty-free business. The company produces promotional videos and live broadcasts featuring famous Chinese dermatologists Ryu Dongyang and Wang Hong with various on-the-scene promotions.
