The Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation announced that the company held "Mirae Asset Scholarship Student Day" at Mirae Asset Daewoo Office in Yeouido on July 25.

The event attended by more than 50 people including foreign exchange scholarship students selected this year and in the past, consists of activities to practice sharing cultures including mentoring about studying overseas. Scholarship students who had studied abroad shared first-hand experiences such as knowhow in overseas adaptation and understandings of multiculturalism that they experienced through dispatches of foreign exchange scholarship students selected this year.

In addition, the participating scholarship students participated in the Hope Bag Campaign of Good Neighbors, an international relief and development NGO. The campaign was held to protect the education rights of poor children in overseas countries. Bags and school supplies made by scholarship students will be delivered to Vietnamese children.

The Mirae Asset Overseas Exchange Scholarship Program is a representative social contribution project of Mirae Asset to provide outstanding talented people with tuition and staying expenses so that they can cultivate knowledge and experience in a broader world. The scholarship program has been giving scholarships to talented people since 2007. To date, 4,267 college students have been studying in 44 countries around the world.

So far, the Mirae Asset Park Hyun-joo Foundation has provided scholarships to 7,616 students including scholarship students studying in Korea and global investment experts.

With the addition of global cultural experience programs such as the Global Leader Long March, school tours and economic classes, the total number of participants in the human resources development program exceeds 200,000.

Moreover, Mirae Asset scholarship students are returning the benefits of sharing cultures to society by participating in various social contribution activities together with the foundation.
