Hyosung is participating in the Chinaplas 2017 being held in Guangzhou, China, for four days from May 16 to 19 to promote Hyosung Chemicals Performance Group’s polypropylene brand Topilene and polyketone brand Poketone on the Chinese and global markets.

Participating in the event for the first time for its polypropylene business, the company revealed diverse products, including pipes, films, transparent containers, and heat-resisting home appliances. Hyosung has developed its own technology, altering the dehydrogenation process to produce high purity propylene. Based on it, it plans to actively promote Topilene which can be easily found in daily life.

At the event, Hyosung is promoting its pipe polypropylene “Topilene R200P,” which ranks first in terms of market share. The product is gaining much attention from visitors due to its economic feasibility, eco-friendliness, and chemical safety. Accordingly, the company has increased the number of employees at the booth to have more meetings with customers. It also held a seminar related to Topilene technology on the 16t to improve the customers’ understanding.

Meanwhile, Hyosung has been also introducing its polyketone brand Poketone at the even for two years in a row. Poketone, a new eco-friendly engineering plastic material, is made of air pollutant carbon monoxide. The product also has high shock resistance, and stands up well to chemical exposure and wear-and-tear. The Poketone technology seminar was held on the 17th, the second day of the event.
