Taihan Electric Wire said on May 11 that the company took part in the ELFACK in Gothenburg, Sweden from May 9 to 12. The ELFACK 2017 is one of the largest electrical industry exhibitions in Northern Europe and was participated in by world-class cable companies such as France’s Nexans, Italy’s Prysmian and Germany’s NKT.

In this exhibition, the Korean wire company introduced its flagship products such as ultra-high voltage cables, submarine cables, and overhead lines with increased capacities, and emphasized its turnkey capability to supply customized products.

In particular, Taihan Electric Wire publicized its technical performance and competitiveness by demonstrating the performance of EHV (extra high voltage) cables exported to countries around the world. In addition, the company also participated in the ICC (Insulated Conductors Committee)' held in San Diego, the USA for four days until May 10.

The ICC is one of the largest power cable conferences in North America. Taihan Electric Wire introduced ultra high voltage underground cables including SCE 500kV project for about 100 electric power-related companies. The company is planning to participate in the JECA 2017 exhibition which will be held in Japan for three days starting from May 17.

“We expect that large-scale electric power projects such as cross-border grid-related projects and the replacement of old cables will be carried out in Europe in the future,” said a representative of Taihan Electric Wire. “In addition, we will also strengthen our competitiveness in the region as well as pioneer markets through solid lineups of overseas branches and production corporations."
