On April 16, Start-up FITT (https://www.fitt.kr) successfully held the first training of measurement evaluators at Pangyo Start-up Campus.

Amid a rise in a need for health and fitness professional, FITT held the first training of measurement evaluators in Korea. 117 health and fitness instructors were qualified as measurement evaluators in Korea.

Approximately 200 health and fitness instructors took part in a qualification course on exercise physiology, metabolism calculation and exercise program design required for measurement evaluation.

Moreover, for the first time in Korea, an online qualification test was conducted on the spot. Despite the 8-hour training course, the lecture hall was filled with trainees with strong passions to pass the qualification training course.

"I hope that this test will empower health and fitness instructors in the field to contribute to  qualitative growth of the health care market as well as to achieve growth of each instructor while showing differences between experts and amateurs not via assumption but via measurement,” CEO Hong Seok-jae of FITT said.

FITT is a health care start-up which developed an exercise test web service for the first time in connection with German Physical Education University. The startup also is nurturing experts in measurement evaluation needed for health care.
