SK Broadband has launched “Vcase,” a business to business (B2B) video platform, that can be used in corporate in-house broadcasting and personal broadcasting.

 

SK Broadband created a business model with its know-how and experience in operating its mobile media platform Oksusu. With the new platform, any company and individual can easily edit mobile videos and transmit broadcast in real time.

The company announced on May 10 that it has launched “Vcase,” a business to business (B2B) video platform, that can be used in corporate in-house broadcasting and personal broadcasting.

Vcase has been jointly designed and developed by SK Broadband and SK Telecom Media Research Center in the last three years. It allows to broadcast video on demand (VOD) programs, pre-recorded programs as well as live broadcast through computers, smartphones and televisions.

In addition, the platform enables users to edit online videos, manages contents, insert advertisements in between programs, chat with other users and realize augmented contents such as 360-degree virtual reality (VR) and ultra-high definition (UHD).
 
Choi Hyung-joon, head of the corporate business planning unit at SK Broadband, said, “We will communicate with content providers and offer IT technologies easily and inexpensively. We will also become a professional broadcasting platform provider acknowledged not only at home and abroad.”
