The Doosan Group announced on April 19 that the 'Doosan Day of Community Service' event was held by employees of its business sites all over the world.

This year, in particular, the event marks its fifth anniversary with the participation of about 7,000 employees in 16 countries around the world including Korea, Asia, the Americas, Europe and the Middle East.

On the day, in Korea, they carried out activities such as making furniture, visiting the marginalized including elderly people, participating in blood drives, and cleaning the local environment. In the United States, they repaired public facilities and cleaned the environment. In the Middle East, they donated necessities to the marginalized. In the UK, they repaired community centers and donated books.

"The Doosan Day of Community Service event is positioning itself as a festival for sharing with local communities,” said Park Jung-won, chairman of Doosan Group. “We hope that the event will be a chance for our employees to deliver warmth to people in need and experience the pleasure of sharing with them."
