SK Holdings C&C announced on April 11 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Begas to upgrade AI-based big data analysis platform Scytale specialized in the manufacturing and high-tech industries.

Scytale is an industrial big data analysis platform which SK Holdings C&C developed by integrating its system construction and operation experience accumulated in the manufacturing industry such as semiconductor, energy and chemical sectors, and information and communication technology (ICT) capabilities like AI technology.

Under the MOU, the two companies are going to provide various big data analysis services specialized in the manufacturing and high-tech industries by applying Begas’s latest AI algorithm to Scytale of SK Holdings C&C.

Vegas will provide algorithms for the manufacturing sector such as predictive maintenance, fault detection, virtual measurement, energy saving and quality analysis.

This allows customers to analyze various types of unstructured data such as images, facility logs, and engineers’ reports more quickly. In particular, this way can automatically detect the causes of product failure, process abnormality, and facility inefficiency, thereby greatly improving efficiency.
