The SPC Group announced on April 6 that it opened the third store of “Shake Shack,” a premium burger brand on the first floor of Doota Building in Dongdaemun of Seoul.

The 348-square-meter and 116-seat Doota store of Shake Shack is located in Dongdaemun, a typical fashion and shopping center and a destination visited by 7 million people a year. It is the first store in the north of the Han River in Seoul.

The store was created as a resting space in the city with an outdoor terrace with a view of vibrant Dongdaemun Street, a canopy and flowerpots. String bistro lighting adds to the attractiveness of its external space. These items make customers feel as if they were in the Madison Square Park Store of Shake Shack Burger which is the first Shake Shack store in the world.

In addition to main menus including Shack Burger, Shack Stack, Smoke Shack and Shroom Burger, the Shake Shack Doota Store offers three special and exclusive dessert menus -- Rainbow, Green Light, and Shack Pogato.

"We will offer vibrant services and create a hospitality culture unique to Shake Shack in Dongdaemun, a major hot spot to which people from all over the world flock to," said a representative of Shake Shack.

Shake Shack is a premium burger brand launched in New York City of the USA in 2001 and is now running stores in 13 countries including the UK, Japan, and the UAE. In Korea, the SPC group operates stores under an exclusive sales contract. In particular, its Gangnam store in Seoul, which opened the first store in Seoul, is enjoying the highest sales among Shake Shack stores around the world, continuing its fever.
