Hyosung met the global customers in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan for two weeks from March 6 to March 17 for Creora Workshop. Hyosung, which has successfully completed the Asian workshop, will hold workshops with customers in Europe, Indonesia and the Americas beginning next month.

The Creora Workshop is a customized consulting activity that provides trend information tailored to the characteristics of each customer and suggests the development of new fabrics using Creora, nylon, and polyester yarns. The Creora Workshop started in 2010 and celebrates its eighth anniversary this year.

Customers in Asia that Hyosung visited this time are 20 fabric manufacturers and sewing companies such as China’s Best Pacific and Derun and Taiwan's Newwide and brand companies such as Hong Kong's Victoria's Secret, GAP and China’s Lining.

Fashion columnist Louisa Smith, who held the Creora Workshop with Hyosung proposed fashion trends for spring and summer in 2019 fashion companies. "The active wear fashion trend is being extended to all kinds of apparel including casual wear, swimwear and underwear, so “Creora Fresh” is becoming more popular as demand for multifunctional materials grows bigger," Louisa Smith said.

Hyosung has been promoting Creora Fresh with a deodorization function launched last year among its customers through active marketing activities such as exhibitions and the Creora Workshop. Creora Fresh is currently being applied to Uniqlo socks in Japan and sportswear in Korea's BlackYak, and is spurring new product launches with great interest in many domestic and overseas brands.
