Controversy Expected
Amid China’s retaliation against South Korean companies over the latter’s deployment of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system in Korea, controversy is expected to break out as the Lotte Group evaluated Chinese President Xi and others as idiots.
The Lotte Human Resources Development Institute published a book, "Leadership of Responsibility and Communication in Era of Idiots? –- Random Thoughts about the 2017 Davos Forum’s Theme" on February 1. The book is Volume 101 of the 'Easy Reading,' a monthly reading material for key executives at the group.
Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Donald Trump were referred to as "idiots" in the employee education book published by the Lotte Human Resources Development Institute. The book analyzed that the global political situation was an ear of idiots.
Other figures called ‘idiots” are Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and North Korean leader Kim Jung-un.
"Chinese President Xi Jingping purged all opposition groups on charges of corruptions and made them powerless by giving them life sentences or branding them as shameless criminals. In this manner, Xi came to power.” The book said about China. “It is obvious that Xi will extend the term of office of the Chinese Communist Party’s general secretary which is the upper limit of 10 years.”
“Super-demagogue Trump took office as President of the US,” the book said about the US. As for Japan, the book said that Prime Minister Abe was sticking to despotism. “President Vladimir Putin began the first dictatorship in the modern political world, and now is almost an ‘emperor’” the book added.
Meanwhile, as this fact has been known to the outside, the Lotte Group is extremely concerned about its aftermaths. As the Lotte Group’s corporations in China have been under economic sanctions due to offering a site for the THAAD System, the report which disparages Chinese President Xi is troubling the Lotte Group.
