Jeff Bezos, chief executive officer of Amazon, the world's largest e-commerce company and the fifth richest man in the world, became excited about taking control of a robot in its cockpit. This made big headlines. The robot was developed and made by a Korean small company.

Bezos went into the cockpit of the "Method-2" robot unveiled by Hankook Mirae Technology and directly controlled the robot at the “MARS 2017” Conference in California on March 20.

A participant recorded a video where Bezos in the cockpit of Method-2 controls the robot's arms and legs, and the video quickly became viral on line.

The four-meter-tall robot has a cockpit on the chest and is powered by a system that can move the arms and legs according to the moves of a person inside.

"There were a lot of questions about the athletic performances of Method-2 and there was a scene in which the arms moved separately when Bezos was aboard," the US-based IT media Verge said, adding, “It was enough to get a glimpse of Amazon warehouse staffs in the future."

The reason why the robot is attracting attention is that the robot is the largest among humanoid robots that have come out so far and can move with legs rather than on wheels.
