Ssangyong Motor announced on March 20 that its executives and senior managers held the “Ssangyong Leaders Round Table (SLRT)” to share the company’s management status and achieve 2017 management goals.

About 200 senior managers of Ssangyong Motor, including CEO Choi Johng-sik and executives and team leaders of divisions and headquarters, attended the ‘Ssangyong Leaders Roundtable’ held at Ssangyong Motor’s Human Resources Development Center in Anseong, Gyeonggi-do to share business results in 2016. They vowed to achieve business goals for 2017 by checking business environments at home and abroad and sharing major business by division.

Ssangyong Motor for each division plans to launch a successful Y400, strengthen its sales network and auto managers’ capabilities, improve after-sales service quality, cut down on costs and improve productivity, and reinforce new technology development.

In particular, they decided to form an enterprise-wide consensus and step up smooth communication and collaboration among divisions by unveiling their main business plan for 2017 and the slogans of “Shine the Light,” “Rise 2017” and “Change the Frame” about their will to achieve goals.

"Last year, Ssangyong Motor succeeded in swinging back to profitability in nine years, thanks to a company-wide consensus, communication and cooperation on the normalization of management,” said Choi Johng-sik, CEO of Ssangyong Motor, adding, “We will further solidify bonds among our employees and lay the foundation for continued growth."
