Financial Big Data
Woori Bank is expected to be capable of finding patterns regarding the use of financial services by its customers by means of the big data platform provided by LG CNS.
Woori Bank announced on March 16 that it has been selected as the preferred bidder for Woori Bank’s project for big data analysis infrastructure establishment, which is the first one of its kind in the South Korean financial sector.
LG CNS has carried out financial big data projects since 2013. The big data roadmap it suggested for the project of Woori Bank has been praised as being highly professional. LG CNS has run its own organization specialized in big data since 2012 and it currently has its own analysis solutions such as the Smart Big Data Platform.
In the previous pilot project of KB Kookmin Bank, LG CNS succeeded in drawing customers’ financial transaction patterns by analyzing their deposit and withdrawal memo texts and contributing to customer care by analyzing customer service records.
