Hyundai Motor took the wrap off a newly developed FE hydrogen electric car at the Geneva International Motor Show, one of the world's top four motor shows, which began at Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland on March 7 (local time).

Hyundai Motor's FE hydrogen electric vehicle concept was named FE after the initials of Future Eco. The Korean automaker will apply the technology applied to this concept car to a hydrogen electric SUV model to be launched in 2018.

The exterior was generally designed to be refined and simple, while the rear spoiler and C-pillar vents were loaded with aerodynamic technology. The model was developed with the aim of running 800km at one charge and features long mileage.

The automobile is also characterized by its pleasant vehicle environment. That is to say, clean water, a byproduct generated in the process of hydrogen energy conversion for the vehicle, is used to control the humidity of the internal space of the car. It is said that Hyundai Motor’s next-generation hydrogen electric vehicle model will have “Hyundai SmartSense,” an automation-based intelligent safety technology.
