Programing without Coding
LG CNS announced on January 19 that it has used an automatic programming for more than 400 projects without coding technology as of January this year.
Currently, the sales system of GS Retail and the production management system of the North American plant of Novelis, the world leader in rolled aluminum products, are being constructed based on the automatic programming technology.
Starting research and development on the Model Driven Development (MDD) technology, LG CNS has applied it to various industries over the last 15 years from 2003. The MDD development methodology is similar with machines automatically constructing buildings. In short, it converts business models specialized to each building to software.
The MDD technology has brought about an innovation in the program development in the information technology (IT) service industry. It is regarded as an essential tool to expand new business, provide rapid services and release products in response to the needs of quickly changing business needs and a trend of software development in all industries.
