The 2017 season of the 24H Series, the world's largest endurance race to which Hankook Tire exclusively supplies tires will begin its 11-month race with its opening race in Dubai for three days from January 12.

The 24-Hour Series is the world's largest endurance race in which the world's premium cars such as the Porsche 991, the Lamborghini Urakan, the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3 and the Audi R8, run on the road for 24 hours without any stops. Its 2017 season will be made up of seven rounds in six countries including Italy, Austria, France, Spain and the United States with the opening round of HANKOOK 24H DUBAI.

HANKOOK 24H DUBAI will be held at Dubai Autodrome, one of the most modern circuits in the world. The circuit is 5.39 km long. The weather and wind of the location in the middle of a desert determines the amount of sands on the track so the tires’ grip performances and traction have a big influence on race results. In addition, tires’ performances hold the key to racing since tires are essential in steering.

Hankook Tire has proven its top-tier global technology and premium brand value through the exclusive supply of tires as an official title sponsor of 24-Hour Series' based on world-class quality and technology since 2015.

Until the 2018 race, all of the cars participating in the competition will be equipped with Hankook Tires' racing tires and the official name '24H Series Powered by Hankook Tire' will be used in all official events. Through this, Hankook Tire will expand its brand communications to motorsports fans around the world with a passion for excellence and innovative enterprising spirit.

In the meantime, Hankook Tire kicked off its motorsports activities in 1992 with the development of Z2000, the first racing tire in Korea. In addition, the Korean tire giant is having its technological prowess recognized by supplying racing tires to the World Rally Championship (WRC), Nürburgring, the Formula Drift and other leading motorsport competitions in the world or racing teams in those events.
