Hyosung is taking part in the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2017 held in Salt Lake City of the U.S. from January 10 to 12.

The nylon polyester fiber business division introduced various high functional nylon and polyester fibers. Aeroheat is a heat generating polyester that emits thermal energy by absorbing lights with mineral substances and it can be used to produce winter clothing like fleece and leggings. Aqua-X is a nylon fiber that is appropriate for summer outdoor clothing as it effectively absorbs heat and blocks UV rays. Robic is a high strength, durable and wear resistant textile yarn so it is used for various purposes, such as bags, working clothes and machine sewing yarns.

The spandex business division displayed fabrics combining nylon and polyester yarns with spandex yarns, attracting attention from visitors at the event. Specifically, It introduced fabrics integrating its odor neutralizing spandex “creora® Fresh” with nylon Aqua-X, and fabrics combining “Aerowarm” featuring superior sweat absorbing and quick dry with “creora® Power Fit,” a spandex with high power and excellent heat resistance.

Hyosung formed a joint booth with Korean small and mid-size companies, including Eunsung Techs, this year again, realizing the value of shared growth by helping customer companies with sales and business. During the show, the group has had meetings with global sportswear brands, such as Nike and Reebok, to develop new products. It is also planning to visit global leading brands, including Victoria’s Secret, and carry out marketing activities to expand its global business territory after the event.
