Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy S8 to be released in the second half of this year was unveiled. Its rendering images and specifications were leaked.

According to industry sources on January 5, the images of Samsung’s premium smartphone were revealed through foreign news reports and blogs.

A graphic designer and IT news blogger Veniamin Geskin posted additional rendering images of the Galaxy S8 on Twitter. The latest leaked images showing the alleged device portray a sleek smartphone with full screen display, thanks to the extremely thin side bezels as well as no home button below the display. With curved screens in four sides, it is equipped with an iris scanner on the front and a fingerprint scanner on the back. The new flagship smartphone is expected to be very similar to the Galaxy Note 7 in design.

This somewhat corresponds with the Galaxy S8 specifications that have been rumored. The Galaxy S8 is said to come with an iris scanner and a fingerprint scanner on the front display. However, the images showed that the Galaxy S8 still includes a headphone jack, though it has been rumored that it will ditch a headphone jack and adopt a wireless in-ear headphone. It can charge via the USB-C, which was first introduced in the Galaxy Note 7 among Samsung smartphones. The Galaxy S8 is expected to hit the market in April.
