DoubleH,(www.lumidiet.com/en/) a member of the K-ICT Born2Global Center launched the smart wearable diet belt “LumiDiet.” The company will begin full-scale sales of the product on CJ Home Shopping, a cable TV channel, on December 4.
Over the past two years, DoubleH has developed smart wearable diet belt technology by combining light fat reduction technology (LFRT) and diet.
According to DoubleH, LumiDiet is a personal health care product that helps reduce abdominal obesity by decomposing and burning abdominal fat via LED lights and vibration when worn. The device comes with a smartphone app that can check use histories and changes in body fat, so that users can steadily manage their health such as their diets.
In June, DoubleH recorded a pre-order that exceeded its target in three days since launching Indiegogo, a crowd funding platform in addition to the sellout of “Super Early Bird” release products In July. The company passed a test on a possibility of its advancement into overseas markets at the CosmoProf Exhibition in Las Vegas, USA in the month of May and at the Luxury Tech Show in LA in September.
“We will help DoubleH expand into the US, Europe, Southeast Asia and other regions with the release of this product as momentum,” said Kim Jong-kap, head of the Born2Global Center. DoubleH was selected as a promising start-up in March and moved into the start-up campus.
