Lotte Chemical won the first prize at an international communications competition.
The company announced on November 14 that it received the first prize at the Spotlight Awards, an international competition for printed and publicity materials, sponsored by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP).
Lotte Chemical has been awarded the grand prize in the sustainability management report category for three years in a row. In particular, this year’s report ranked first in the top 100 in the entire printed publicity materials sector.
Lotte Chemical’s 2015 sustainability management report included its efforts to accomplish the vision of a global top 10 total petrochemical company and strengthen the global competitiveness as well as all information for interested parties.
The company’s sustainable management was selected as the best performing chemical company in the nation at the 2016 Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) on October 19 and DJSI Asia –Pacific company for the sixth consecutive year.
The Spotlight Awards has been hosted annually since 2001. To select the winners in 19 categories, such as brochure, publication, annual report and sustainable management report, a panel of communication professionals affiliated with the LACP reviews entries from 300 firms around the world. The most excellent works are chosen and awarded as the top 100.
