The third Global Entrepreneurship Week Korea 2016 (GEW KOREA 2016) will be held with a theme of “The Key to Creative Problem Solving, Global Entrepreneurship” at Sheraton Seoul Palace Gangnam Hotel for two days from November 14 to 15.

Daniel Isenberg, a renowned scholar in entrepreneurship, is visiting Korea to attend the GEW Korea 2016 and deliver a lecture on challenge and value creation through entrepreneurship to younger people with a theme of “Who are the Key Players to Create Entrepreneurial Ecosystem?”

Daniel Isenberg is a Professor of Entrepreneurship Practice at Babson College Executive Education where he established the Babson Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Project (BEEP). Isenberg was a professor for 11 years at the Harvard Business School and also advised the White House on its Startup America program in 2011. He was awarded his Ph.D in Social Psychology from Harvard University and graduated from Harvard Business School. Isenberg is the author of "Worthless, Impossible, and Stupid: How Contrarian Entrepreneurs Create and Capture Extraordinary Value.”

The global economy is facing various challenges such as economic growth and qualitative employment. Isenberg suggests “value creation without innovation” from a different point of view of general entrepreneurship and addresses the role of the government of a state to seek out entrepreneurs, create the entrepreneurial ecosystem and provide challenge programs. He says that these can pave the way to make a new breakthrough.
