Korean consumers lined up and spent two nights and three days in front of the store from October 19 to become the first one to purchase the iPhone 7. As it suggests, the domestic consumers also shows high expectations of the latest device iPhone 7. However, all eyes are now on whether or not they will change the purchasing behavior after the third reported case of an iPhone 7 catching fire and severely damaging a vehicle.

Until now, Apple already has received three reports regarding the iPhone 7 supposedly bursting into flames in the U.S., China and Australia.

According to a report in Daily Mail Australia on the 21st, an Australian surf instructor Mat Jones said, “ I left my iPhone 7 under a pile of clothes inside my car before heading out to do surf sessions. When I was done, I went back to my car only to find the vehicle burnt black. When I opened the door, I could immediately feel heat with smoke. I purchased the smartphone a week ago. I have never dropped my iPhone 7 nor used a third-party charger to charge up its battery.”

In this regard, an Apple spokesperson said the company is in contact with Jones and investigating the incident.

Previously, a user of Reddit, the largest online community in the U.S., posted pictures of the burnt iPhone 7, claiming, “The iPhone has exploded on its way to me.”

On the 12th, a Chinese online news outlet reported that a man from Zhengzhou, central China's Henan province, claimed that his iPhone 7 suddenly exploded while using. The phone exploded into two parts and left his hands swollen and his face with some injuries.

Some said that Apple could may follow the suit of Samsung, which finally decided not to produce the Galaxy Note 7 anymore, with a series of iPhone 7 explosions.
