Air Seoul, Asiana's second low-cost carrier (LCC) after Air Busan, introduced the first plane painted with its own design on October 5. The company held a ceremony to celebrate the introduction of the first plane at the parking ramp in Incheon International Airport on the 5th, attended by Air Seoul President Ryu Gwang-hee and other employees.

At the ceremony, Air Seoul revealed the A321-200 model with 195 seats, which was painted with its own design, for the first time and there was a special photo zone with the company’s flight attendants standing in the shape of its logo “AO.”

Air Seoul will start launching the first international flight with the plane to Japan’s Takamatsu on October 7. The company plans to operate two more aircrafts by the end of this month and serve 10 cities in Japan - Takamatsu, Shizuoka, Toyama, Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Yonago and Ube – and Southeast Asia – Siem Reap, Macao and Kota Kinabalu – in consecutive order this year. Next year, it will expand regular routes to China with two additional planes.

Meanwhile, Air Seoul, a subsidiary 100 percent owned by Asiana Airlines, offers the service with new planes which are three years old on average. The company allows customers to have a pleasant trip with a spacious seat and enjoy videos and movies via a personal monitor in every seat.
